FreedivingPH Apnea Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
FreedivingPH Apnea is an Apple Watch and iPhone training aid for dynamic apnea interval sessions. This policy describes how the app handles information.
Information Used by the App
- Workout and health information that you authorize through Apple Health, including heart-rate samples and the latest available blood-oxygen sample.
- Session information such as training-plan settings, lap times, planned or measured distance, calculated speed, and session summaries.
- Supported sensor information used during a session, such as depth or water-submersion information for optional automatic surface detection.
How Information Is Used
The app uses this information to run your selected training plan, display live measurements, detect supported lap events, provide optional alerts, and generate your session summary.
Storage and Sharing
Training settings and session information are stored locally on your devices and may synchronize directly between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. FreedivingPH Apnea does not upload this information to FreedivingPH servers, sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers. Health information is accessed only with your permission through Apple's HealthKit framework and is not used for advertising or marketing.
Your Choices
You can decline Health access or change permissions in the Health app or device Settings. Features that require unavailable hardware or denied permissions will be disabled or may show that data is unavailable. You may remove locally stored app information by deleting the app from your devices.
Safety and Medical Disclaimer
FreedivingPH Apnea is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Sensor readings and automatic detections may be unavailable, delayed, or inaccurate. Never freedive alone; always use a trained and attentive buddy.
